Juvenile Court

When a child is charged with a crime in juvenile court, the life-long consequences can be devastating. Whether your child is charged with vandalism in the cities of Long Beach, Anaheim, or Westminster, your child needs effective and aggressive legal representation. More importantly, your child needs legal representation PRIOR to meeting with the probation officer. What you or your minor child tell the probation officer can change the outcome of your child's case for the worse.
As your child's attorney, I will focus first on obtaining a dismissal or having the matter handled "informally" through the juvenile probation department. A case is generally handled informally when the matter is dealt with through the probation department. Preventing the case from being filed is extremely important.
Juvenile courts in the cities of Long Beach, Downey and Orange County can be very intimidating to a minor. Parents are generally ordered to appear with their minor children and the wait to appear in court, if you have not retained a private attorney, can be long and stressful.
